Our beautiful beautiful necklace combines sea green vintage Afghani serpentine, jasper and sterling silver, all to frame the beauty of a carved vintage serpentine bead capped in Nepal with silver. The necklace also features a sterling silver hook clasp. This is a mid length necklace, tribally inspired.

The serpentine beads were collected by Kashgar Bernard Heaphy back in the 1980's, out of Nepal. and Afghanistan

Afghan serpentine is often called Afghan jade in the jewellery trade (although this is not correct stone nomenclature). Its Afghan name is shahmasood.
