Miniature Chinese altar table. Qing Dynasty, late 19th century, Shanxi Provence, A classic piece in the style known as scholar's furniture. Yang Mu (poplar wood) & red lacquer. Open carved, trestle style with everted flanges, pierced flower and cloud spandrel decoration.

Condition: Age and losses to the lacquer.
