Tekke Turkoman women's cap jewellery.  High grade silver, 24k gold fire gilding, finished with four carnelian stones.  All dangles are intact. Mid 20th Century. 

This interesting piece of jewellery would have once endowed the embroidered headdress of a Turkoman girl of marriageable age, sewn onto the fabric of the cap or veil at its highest point so that the dangles lay around its centre. An excellent example of original delicate Tekke workmanship and a very collectible piece.
