Vintage Japanese Silk Kimono in Geometric Blue Cream Pattern
This vintage full length Japanese kimono dates to the 1950s. Heavy silk, unlined except for a light cream silk border that runs past the neck down to the lapels. Hand stitched. Features a very attractive geometric pattern in shades of black and blue on a cream ground.
There is a small area of light rust-coloured staining as shown in the picture and several small dots of rust-like staining commensurate with the age the kimono.
This kimono can be worn by either men or women.
Measurements:
Sleeve tip to tip 1260 mm
Armpit to armpit 600 mm
Back of neck to hem 1460 mm
